【探究レポート】Visiting the Yakult Factory to Deepen Understanding of Health

In October, many QUEST teams went to various places inside and outside of Okayama with the hope of deepening their understanding of their team’s topic and strengthening their bonds with the community and with one another. One such group was the A-8 team.

The A-8 team visited the Yakult Factory in Wake, Okayama, hoping to deepen their knowledge of health.
Their goal is to help people become healthier through sports and food.
The students enjoyed the displays and games in the waiting lobby; they tried a complimentary Yakult drink while watching an educational anime about its benefits and the importance of maintaining good digestive health; they toured the factory and saw firsthand how the drink is made; and they were able to be active and enjoy some much-needed playtime at a local park. It was a fun day for them and for many other QUEST teams. We look forward to seeing how these wonderful experiences will shape the various QUEST projects.
