【4年生】Math&P.E.
In Math class this month, we have been learning about volume and capacity.
The two terms can be easily confused, so we practiced ways of differentiating between the two.
In this picture, you can see students working with interlocking cubes to practice the idea of volume.
They learned that two very different shapes can have the same volume.
Also this month we began to play port ball in our P.E. lessons.
Students enjoyed this easier variation of basketball and had fun playing together.
While the rules of basketball were like second-nature to some students, others had to learn about “traveling” and “double-dribbling” the hard way.
