【2年生】春の遠足

Yesterday morning, our Grade 2 students visited the Shujitsu Forest School for an exciting field trip filled with nature and discovery.

During their hike, students learned about local plants and explored many signs of spring, including bamboo shoots and a variety of insects.
They also visited historical burial sites of important people from the area, connecting their learning to local history.

After the hike, students enjoyed roasting marshmallows, eating popcorn, and making bamboo-copters.
There was also time to play in the field, where they had fun throwing frisbees, jumping rope, and kicking soccer balls.

It was an active and meaningful morning, and by the time students returned, some were already fast asleep on the bus!
