【２年生Math】Mascot Logo Project

For our 2^nd Grade Math topic on Data, we had a project that revolved around creating a class mascot logo together as a whole class. Our students were involved in this collaborative project where thery had to interview each other, collect data, make a tally poster, and then present their posters alongside the results of their data to the class.
2年生の算数のトピック「データ」では、クラス全員でクラスのマスコット・ロゴを作るというプロジェクトを行いました。
子供たちはこの共同プロジェクトに参加しました。
まず、どんな言葉がいいか、どんな絵を使いたいかなどについて、グループごとに担当の項目について、クラスのメンバーにインタビューし、データを収集し、集計ポスターを作成しました。

After the presentations, we then used the data to create our own logo. We worked together and came up with more ideas to make improvements on our logos. The students worked hard on thinking of original ideas and learning to collaborate closely with their peers. They also learned to be more selfless and to consider everyone’s thoughts and feelings as a whole class.
集計ポスターをもとにプレゼンテーションをした後、私たちはそのデータを使って自分たちのロゴを作成しました。
みんなで協力し合いながら、ロゴをより良くするためのアイデアを出し合いました。
子供たちは独創的なアイデアを考え、仲間としっかり協力することを学びました。
また、クラス全員の考えや気持ちを考えることも学びました。

We are delighted to share our logos and currently display them proudly in our classroom and around the school. The students are also encouraged to display and use their class logos in future projects going forward.
子供たちは、このロゴを共有できることを嬉しく思い、現在、教室や学校の中に掲示しています。
子供たちは、今後のプロジェクトでも自分たちのクラスのロゴを使っていくことでしょう。
